This 1923 version of the original essay published in 1906 holds some additional material from the notes of Haverfield compiled into this 4th edition which looks at the Romanization of Roman Britain through language, material civilisation, art life and government and most importantly religion.
This book is the original cloth, hard back book with text printed on paper cut. Being over 100 years old, you would expect it to be in bad condition however, apart from the slight tear as seen in the image, the book is in remarkable condition. There is a pencil note inside the cover with a name and date of Feb 1932.
