William Edington was Bishop of Winchester between 1345 and 1366 and this book is his register, mainly dealing with church matters, during that time. Being treasurer of the exchequer and Lord Chancellor, he was heavily engaged in affairs of the state.

This book is volume 7 from the Hampshire Record Series and is very good condition, almost as new.
