This 1992 reprint of the original from 1980, examines slavery in the classical world and compares them with the New World. This is a study into ancient slavery and the modern ideology set over four chapters. This is now quite a rare book and well worth the addition to any historian’s library.
The book is good condition for its age; the pages are yellowed with time and there are some scuffs around the edge of the front cover but generally good condition.
